ICL Kft. Is a company founded in 2019, the owners of which set the goal of developing environmentally friendly, environmentally conscious, good “price / value” construction technologies and with the help of which large amounts of plastic waste (PS, PP , PE) becomes usable as a construction additive. With patented (environmentally conscious / environmentally friendly) additives (ICL-CA; K1) and technology (ICL-K1), technologies based on recycled (artificial) materials make their use available and economical not only to the construction industry but also to the general public. With the use of the construction additive we have developed, a significant part of the plastic waste generated from residential and industrial waste can be processed.

  • Development of polystyrene additive-based, high compressive and flexural strength, thermal insulation, waterproof, recycled plastic (PS, PP, PE) -additive, environmentally friendly, load-bearing lightweight concrete, which is suitable for structural elements (masonry and block elements and panel elements) and independent structural elements and manufacture
  • Development of processes and technology based on the recycling of reduced cement content (cement-free) of residential and construction waste, which can drastically reduce the amount of cement currently used, as cement production is one of the most CO2-intensive production technologies
  • Substitution of the admixture of normal (gravel) concretes using recycled plastic grit, in which case, in addition to the gravel fractions used, plastic granules can be used in order to improve the concrete technological characteristics
  • Drastic increase of the compressive strength of normal (gravel) concretes by using a special admixture, during which the compressive and flexural strength of normal concrete can be significantly increased by adding a single admixture
  • Development and research of energy-recycling concrete systems, during which the goal is to produce concrete structures suitable for energy (electricity) production, using special, organic conductive polymers
  • Development of similar – energy recycling – systems for the most commonly used construction raw materials (eg asphalt)

With the help of the ICL additive (ICL-CA) we have developed, the compressive and flexural strength, watertightness, fire resistance, thermal and sound insulation capacity of lightweight concrete with high polystyrene beads can be significantly increased, as well as load-bearing structures from them. The use of the admixture allows the incorporation of plastic waste into the concrete structure, thus enabling the development of three times environmentally conscious technology. By using the additive ICL-CA, the cost of lightweight concrete can be significantly reduced, while their construction chemical properties can be significantly increased. The use of ICL-CA admixture and ICL technology makes it possible to produce concrete elements that do NOT require the use of insulation systems when used as structural elements, thus further reducing installation costs.
